WESSO® AIR MED

WESSO® AIR MED is emitted into the air via an ultrasound nebulizer. It is invisible and odourless, therefore remains unnoticed.

Applications:

The risk of nosocomial infections

Clinical environments often face a particularly high occurence of pathogenic bacteria and viruses. Many germs are resistant to common treatments with antibiotics and other therapeutic agents (e.g. MRSA).

Patients with weakened immune systems as well as clinical staff face the risk of becoming a carrier of such germs or even of falling ill themselves. Within the EU alone each year over 60,000 patients die of nosocomial infections aquired in clinical environments.


WESSO® AIR MED is a special solution for air hygiene in clinical settings. The agent neutralizes hazardous germs in the air, before they can reach humans and cause any harm. Air borne infections are avoided and the germ load in the entire treatment environment is significantly reduced. WESSO® AIR MED therefore offers additional safety in complying with hygiene standards and closes an important gap in common hygiene concepts.
