The foundation of WESSO
In 1986, the company was founded as the WESSOCLEAN Wasserhygiene GmbH by Dr. h. c. Heimo Wessollek. The original core business was the regeneration of drinking water wells. From the beginning WESSO® placed great importance on the production of ecologically friendly and materially protective products.
Over the years, the cooperation with research institutes and diverse industrial partners lead to new and successful applications of WESSO® products, such as industrial water systems, air washers, printing plants and medicine.
Therefore, the WESSO® product range was enlarged to suit further industries. However, Dr. Wessollek has always emphasized the use of environmentally friendly agents to sustain the company's credo "in harmony with nature".
Through the application of WESSO's products for water hygiene in air washers and humidifiers the idea air hygiene based on human friendly agents was borne. After several years of research and development, numerous medical and practical studies have proven that WESSO® can be also applied in medicine and the food industry. Today, WESSO® air management can look back at a track of over 15 year of success.
